At Cliffdale, we use Positive Behavioral Intervention & Supports (PBIS) to improve school safety and promote positive behavior.  PBIS is a process for supporting and encouraging All-Star students to use positive behavior strategies as common practice.  All students learn and implement the STAR pledge as a part of PBIS:

Safety first
Take responsibility
Always be a problem solver
Respect yourself and others
Strive for success

Students are able to earn ClassDojo points for display of positive behaviors and use these points to cash in for prizes. ClassDojo is the platform used at Cliffdale to communicate within the school community.  With a PBIS focused approach, we are committed to creating a safe and productive learning environment where teachers can teach, students can learn, and all can “Practice Being Excellent, because Excellence is a Habit.”
